Not sure what you would like to specialize in within your career field? Meet with a counselor to discuss taking the Strong Interest Inventory or the Myers Briggs Type Indicator to gain clarity on your interests, values, skills and personality type.
Meet with Career Center
Come and brainstorm your research findings, tentative goals and job search strategies with a career counselor. We are available for individual appointments Monday-Friday from 8:30-4:30 and evening hours by appointment on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesday.
Informational Interviewing and Networking
Talking with professionals in your field of interest is a great way to learn more about your career field and make those essential contacts. The CARD System is a database of over 900 Fisher alumni who act as volunteer mentors. You may obtain access to the CARD System by meeting with a counselor or emailing us at career@sjfc.edu, with your preferred email address and a six digit number which will act as your pin#.
